Symbols of the Story of Mary

On page 282, Brown discusses references to the story if Mary in modern culture. This is a kind of crazy thought, but I wonder if the song "Mary Had a Little Lamb" is a reference to Mary Magdalene having a child.

  1. I think that if there is any biblical connection to 'Mary had a little lamb' I think it would deal with the Virgin Mary since we have to remember that this is historically inaccurate and fiction. there is no Priory of Sion that gaurds the Holy Grail being Mary being Jesus' wife and having a child.

  2. You're most likely right, but Mary Magdalene did exist and there are many who argue that she and Jesus were married, with there being a chance that they did have a kid. The story embellishes a lot of history, but a fair amount of the information provided in the book is accurate.

  3. I don't agree with this, mostly on the aspect that I don't agree that the holy grail is Mary Magdalene. I think the story embellishes the Priory of Sion and the story of Mary Magdalene in the first place. Purely fiction with a hint of history thrown in.

  4. Although this book may have historical components in order to make powerful story you can connect to. However, history in essence is inaccurate so although this book may indeed contain quite a few truths, it is unreliable as any sort of source
